It is a small comfortable hotel. Our staff offers an attentive high-quality service and is always ready to offer any help to guests. Situated in Dar es Salaam, Kigamboni 40Km from the Julius Nyerere Airport, 32Km from the Azam Ferry port to Zanzibar.

At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving African, Indian, American and British cuisine dishes. A vegetarian option can also be requested. A Children’s playground, Swimming Pool and a Garden area is also among of the facilities that you will find at Paradiso Hotel. Inhouse guests are entitled to free WIFI through out their stay.

There is a comfortable lounge where you can sit and drink tea or just read. A conference room that can accommodate up to 30 people including a projector. There is an amazing fusion of calm and tranquility at the hotel with no hectic noise outside.
10Km from the ocean enables us to take our guests to the Beach as well as an Island within the city (Sinda Island) for water activities like snorkeling, fishing, Deep Sea Diving etc.

The rooms are arranged on the Ground floor. On the center of the rooms, there is also a private Lounge available for the use of guests, from where you can enjoy a cup of tee or coffee, or any desirable drink of your choice – this is all you need to relax and to feel delightful emotions of your vacation.

Paradiso has a rich history with many interesting facts and occasions that had an impact on its establishment. But through the whole period of its formation Paradiso was always liked by visitors.

Paradiso’s history begins in 1809 when a rich man named John Douglas bought a huge piece of land to fulfilled his father’s will – to build the place where people can relax and forget about their problems. From 1852 the active works on this area took place and till 1863 the building was finished. Name of the hotel originated from John’s mother’s name.

Since that time the hotel never lost its popularity and only developed and increased in sizes. It is renovated annually and the current owners care about the building conditions as well as timely renewal. There is a special place at our hotel where you can go through all steps of Paradiso establishment and get new knowledge.
